With over 25 years of consulting experience, Mark’s expertise lies in the Automotive and Logistics industry verticals complimented by a particular interest around finance, insurance, technology and data business models. With background in a financial services, this interest in motor insurance extends in insurance distribution more broadly, and other areas of lending.
Automotive
Working with many of the leading brands in this space, his Automotive experience spans all non-manufacturing elements of the value chain including Car Buying Services; Classified Advertising & Lead Generation; Dealerships; Automotive Leasing and Finance; Motor Insurance; Service, Maintenance & Repair Workshops; Vehicle Rental and Vehicle Remarketing / Auctions.
He has also worked for a range of technology and data businesses supporting these players including valuation data, specification data, dealer software, repair and maintenance information and fleet management tools & software.
Logistics
With a focus on last-mile delivery and national logistics, he has worked on both asset-heavy and asset-light businesses ranging from traditional couriers, mail operators and PUDO/locker solutions to carrier management and transport management software businesses to enable this ecosystem.
Having founded a vehicle logistics marketplace, this expertise extends into other logistics-related marketplaces such as freight exchanges.
Insurance Distribution & Specialty Lending
A final area of interest is financial services distribution with a focus on digital disruption.
Mark advises both owners and investors in these businesses across Europe and North America.
Beyond OC&C, Mark supports a leading Children's Charity in the UK, is co-founder and Chairman of Engineius a vehicle movement business, Chairman of Clearwell Capital and is a keen golfer.
