OC&C advised Foreman Capital with the acquisition of Rijcken Groep
Thursday 20 June 2024 | NewsWe’re thrilled to have supported Foreman Capital in acquiring the Asian foods wholesale division from Jan Rijcken Beheer BV (Rijcken Groep). They will continue to operate under the name Authentic Cuisine Group. OC&C provided Foreman Capital with commercial due diligence services.
Currently active in Germany and the Netherlands, the Authentic Cuisine Group was established in 1962 by Jan Rijcken. After his death, current and remaining CEO Remko Tiecken grew the company through a clear customer value proposition surrounding product quality, delivery proficiency and customer satisfaction.
As the majority stakeholder, Foreman Capital will develop with management an innovative plan for growth both organically and through a buy-and-build strategy; seeking to establish the Authentic Cuisine Group as a European market leader in the distribution of Asian, Middle Eastern, and more diverse categories of world food.
